Skint

I am officially skint. A few more days to pay day and I really can't wait for it. Last December I could not stop myself from spending way over budget. Having a family member (who came over for a holiday) was great, shopping together was great. However, paid a price as my bank balance is currently nil.

Even dug into my piggy bank for any loose change. Yes I am that desperate. Hahaha serves me right for going OTT with the post-Christmas sales. But at least I am sorted with presents for my family (for this year too).

I am hoping that with this next wage, I will be able to be the miser that I was and no more visits to the shops (yeah right)!

EC drop

I have long abandoned my EC duty for a few months now. When I first signed up for it, I was quite gung-ho then the novelty kind of wore off and lost a little bit interest. Probably the main reason was I didn't have the time to do my EC drops.

For those who are consistently doing so, will understand that it does take a lot of time to make 300 drops a day. Unless if you are the type to not even bother scrolling or reading every website then this task could end quickly.

I am THANKING all my EC droppers for the past few months and today I hope that I managed to return the favour. I did dig deep into my 'Drop Inbox' today :)

Unwell

Just entering the fourth day of 2009 and already I am unwell. The flu bug has finally caught me after weeks of trying to fob it off.

Took a few mugs of Lemsip hoping that it will make me better quickly.

Haven't been doing much today, slept a lot and watch a lot of telly. Weather wise it has been awful today hopefully tomorrow it will be much better. Can't take the sub zero temps when I'm down with cold.

The past few days has been quiet at work, because most of my work mates were off for the Christmas and New Year plus we had a lot of sickie leaves as well. Even when they have returned to work, the sneezing and coughing were non stop. Geez. The phones were terrible though, thankfully I only had to go on for 4 hours (thank goodness for phone cover rotation) , customers ringing in whinging , moaning and yelling about the low returns. Goodness me, some people tend to act even worse during Christmas week. I sure do hope they have received coals in their Christmas stokings. I wished these awful customers would realise that they are NOT the only policyholders of the company. Some seemed to think that an organisation just take care of ONE client. ERRR HELLO! We are not IFAs! heheheh maybe I shouldn't write about work.

Anyway, other than that nothing much has been happening since our house guests returned home. But while they were here it was very hectic but a hell lot of fun! Wish they were here longer though but at least I had the pleasure of their company.
